HP invents- we never stand still. We make ideas happen and design great products. This is an opening for a highly motivated intern looking for more than the typical summer employment opportunity. The person in this role will have the opportunity to contribute in several engineering disciplines while helping deliver breakthrough Edgeline Products to market.

Job Description:

New Product Introduction Intern. You will work with the NPI Team to stabilize new products in the global manufacturing system. Your results will power the world-wide Edgeline business. As a member of our team you will evaluate system performance, design measurement test equipment and develop manufacturing software and process documentation. This is a year-round intern position. We are looking for an individual who is able to work up to 15-20 hours a week during the school year and full-time during summer break.

Qualifications:

– Driven to understand how things work

– Professional communication skills

– Written and verbal Demonstrated technical problem solving skills.

– University Sophomore or higher in EE, ME or CS engineering disciplines.

– Must have completed basic freshman physics & associated lab work.

– Some experience in programming and database applications

– Visual Basic and Access desired

– Hands-on experience with electrical circuits, mechanical tools & measurement equipment
